My Story

Kiaora, Kiaorana, Dobar dan... My name is Marnia Barbarich. I am the creator of Arkiek.

Little bit of a background about myself - I am Maori/Cook Island/Croatian-Tarara. I originally come from a small town in the North Island of New Zealand, King Country Region Te Kuiti, I now reside at the top of North Island, in the beautiful Region of Te Tai Tokerau, Awanui.

My professional career started out in 2011 where I began my Diploma in Beauty & Spa Therapies. The best decision I had ever made in terms of studying. I took out Spa Therapist of the Year - this was the birth of my passion. Straight after graduation I applied on the Cruiseships as my first Job. That was the best experience in my life. 10 months  travelling the world and meeting my Croatian side will always be a highlight of my travels, straight into working at Luxury Resorts in Australia. Being assigned to personally treat Top celebrities & Journalists around the world, I knew I had found my calling.

I always knew I was going to get into the Healing Arts and was always intrigued by Metaphysics, Spiritual World, Past lives and Ancient Mythology. I also know whatever piques your interest -  holds clues to your lifepath and Journey.

Combining both passion & Interests - Creating my own line of Decor, Skin Products and Holistic Treatments inspired by Ancient & Sacred Knowledge and healing the collective through Healing Arts, I know I am on the right path. I reflect back and now understand all the experience I have accumulated along with my interests and passion has led me to where I am now...... 

I once thought this could be only a pipe dream....

I now realize we are the creator of our own reality.
